God, Let Me Play Well
By Gregg Easterbrook

God, let me play well but fairly.
Help me to learn something that matters
once the game is over.
Let competition make me strong but never hostile.
Always let me help my opponent up.
Never catch me rejoicing in the adversity of others.
If I know victory, allow me to be happy;
if I am denied, keep me from envy.
Remind me that sports are just games.
If through athletics I set an example,
let it be a good one.

Philadelphia 76ers to Change Direction!

GM Billy King to be let go.

TeamFeriorSports.com has learned that Philadelphia 76ers upper management is ready to change the direction the club is going in and fire General Manager Billy King. King, was first hired by former 76ers coach Larry Brown as a personnel advisor. He later was promoted to General Manager. The "King Era" will not be considered a good one for this storied basketball franchise. It will be remember for horrible drafting, poor trades and wasteful long term contracts to marginal players.
A successor for King has not been chosen. Current Assistant Coach Jimmy Lynam is a possible interim GM until a permanent replacement is found. Former head coach Larry Brown could resurface at any point. Current Coach Maurice Cheeks is considered a failure by upper management and his departure short happen before the new year.
