Fitness Career
Nicole’s dreams of becoming an IFBB pro came true on November 11, 2006 as she placed 1st in her class at the 2006 NPC Nationals in Miami Beach, Florida. The year 2006 was a focused year for Nicole. After dealing with issues involving uterine fibroids, she decided to take time off at the beginning of the year to have the benign tumors surgically removed. The fibroids were so apparent that they were hurting her in the physique rounds. After six weeks of recovery, she worked towards preparing for the 2006 Team Universe competition in July. Placing 3rd overall and missing her pro card by one place gave her the drive she needed to prepare for the win in November at the Nationals.
Once Nicole stepped into the pro arena, her progress continued to climb. She placed in the Top 10 during all 3 shows in her rookie year as a pro (New York - 7th, Europa – 10th, West Palm Beach – 7th). “Competing at the 2007 Europa Supershow was a welcomed challenge and a dream come true as I got to share the stage with the reigning Ms. Olympia, Adela Garcia, a title I hope to earn someday.” Nicole placed 10th out of the 26 pros on that stage. In 2008, her career took an even bigger leap as she placed in the TOP 5 at the New York Pro (4th), Houston Pro (5th) and the Europa Supershow (3rd). Nicole is now preparing to compete at this year’s 2008 Fitness Olympia competition in Las Vegas.
